Our Commitments

Making commitments to organisations that extend beyond our immediate business motivates us to stay engaged and consider the bigger picture. These commitments also keep us accountable and we hope they will contribute to making a difference for individuals and society.

Fashion Ethical Charters

Boozt is a member of the Danish Fashion Ethical Charter and the Swedish Fashion Ethical Charter. The purpose of these charters and our commitment is to ensure the well-being of the models within the Danish and Swedish fashion industry. The charters require the adherence of rules in the form of health checks, age limits, healthy diets and wages for the models and are signed by a broad coalition of stakeholders within the industry. As a signatory, we are committed to abiding by these rules to ensure the well-being of models we work with. This includes our promise to raise awareness of mental illnesses and contribute to the creation of useful information about eating disorders and body ideals generated by the fashion industry. As we work with many models, Boozt seeks to contribute to raising awareness and influencing positive attitudes in fashion, media, and society.

UN Global Compact

The United Nations Global Compact is a strategic policy initiative for businesses committed to aligning their operations and strategies with 10 principles in the areas of human rights, labour standards, environment, and anti-corruption. Our own corporate business principles incorporate the 10 UNGC Principles and we reflect the basic concepts of fairness, honesty, and respect for people and the environment in our business actions.

Sustainable Development Goals

While we feel many of the SDGs include important bearings for supporting our contribution to sustainable development, the most relevant development goals we have chosen to address are SDGs 9, 12 and 17.

Our Communication on Progress

We disclosed our first Communication on Progress (COP) for 2018 on the implementation of the 10 Principles and our focus areas for sustainable development. This report will include the activities we are performing in support of the 2030 development agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The intention behind our COP will be to increase our transparency and accountability, inducing us to improve our performance and ensure that UNGC signatory companies meet the expectations set by the UN Global Compact.
